AXEL BESSON

Axel Besson is a graduate of the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and an artist whose work delves into the paradoxes and ambiguities of cultural heritage. His practice examines the struggles of Generation Z, a cohort raised under the illusion of a stable world, only to confront the intrinsic fragility of societies destined to collapse, fade away, and eventually reemerge.

Through his creations, Axel Besson sheds light on the cycles of emergence, decline, and resurgence within civilizations, questioning notions of permanence and transformation. His artistic approach, both critical and poetic, invites reflection on how these dynamics shape contemporary identities.

 EXHIBITION

We invite you on a journey between land and sea, the tangible and the ethereal. On the shore, where waves erase everything to leave only dust, new possibilities emerge. Between the sand and the water, the performer embodies echoes of collective consciousness, reflecting on the marks of our ever-changing era. With this piece, we explore what remains, what is reborn, and what transcends—a dance between destruction and creation.
