Ngakan Putu Agus Arta Wijaya, known as NPAAW (b. 1990) is a Balinese artist who believes that his artworks reflect his view, experience and sensitivity toward various issues. NPAAW studied Fine Art Painting at Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar. Since high school he has explored many styles of painting, which today tend to be combined and created surrealistic paintings. NPAAW’s most recent exploration is the idea of space on space - painting beyond the two dimensional. Involving masking tapes and spray paints resulting square patterns, plus additional surprises. NPAAW has exhibited in Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, with two of them solo exhibitions in Bali at Two Moods Bali, Canggu and Secondfloor Coffee, Denpasar.
